Below you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions that Buyers and Sellers have prior to engaging my services as a Real Estate Agent:

1.) When is the Best Time to Sell?

This question is perhaps the most frequently asked. The answer depends largely on your personal circumstances. Properties are sold all year round – Even over Christmas!!!!

2.) What commission do you Charge?

The Maximum Sales Commission for the Sale of Residential property in Queensland, as set out by the Queensland Office of Fair Trading is 5% of the First $18,000 and 2.5% of the balance of the sale price plus GST.

3.) Do you discount your Commission?

Sales Commission is Negotiable, however like everything in life you get what you pay for. An agent offering large discounts is more often than not, compromising the level of service they can provide their clients. Discounting in Real Estate also takes the focus away from achieving the best possible price with the best possible terms and conditions and puts the focus for the agent onto turnover and “getting on to the next one (Sale) “ as quickly as possible. 4.) Do you have written Testimonials from Past Clients?

Having a list of satisfied clients who have provided written Testimonials is one of the first things you as a Home Seller should ask from any agent you are considering listing your home – your most valuable asset. 5.) The Agent who sold my last property listed the House and we never heard from him/her! How often will you be in contact?

One of the most important parts of selling your property whether it is your home or investment property is feedback on all aspects of the sale from the agent you appoint. Please refer to the Testimonials page of this website in which some of my past clients mention feedback, returning calls etc. Please ask me for further details at our first appointment.

6.) When is the Best time to buy?

As with selling, properties are bought all year Round, Often properties are bought and sold at times of the year that many would consider quiet – Christmas / New Year and even Easter.
