Ask Kevin Young Episode 109 - The GFC Did Not Affect Australia
G’day,
Welcome to another episode of Ask Kevin Young, this week I’m asked if I have any tips for investors incase of a future global financial crisis. Funnily enough the 2008 GFC didn’t affect Australia, so as an Australian property investor there isn’t too much to worry about. The Great Financial Crisis of 2008 was a Northern Hemisphere Financial Crisis, it didn’t affect Australia and New Zealand, or many other countries outside of the United States and Europe.
So how should you prepare for another GFC? I don’t think you’ll have to. In Australia we’re very lucky, we now have a stable economy. In fact, in 2016 we made a profit trading with the world for the first time in 3 years. This year we should be turning a profit again.
Regards,
Kevin Young
